This musical comedy short is historically significant as the first appearance of Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard (billed as "Jerry Howard") without their former leader, Ted Healy.

It is the only Stooge short where every line of dialogue is delivered in rhyme.

The Stooges join a "Woman Haters Club," vowing to stay away from women. The conflict arises when Larry (Jim) secretly marries Mary, played by Marjorie White , and tries to hide it from his fellow club members during a train trip.

A young Walter Brennan , later a three-time Academy Award winner, appears as a train conductor.

2. Our Gang / The Little Rascals : The He-Man Woman-Haters Club

In the classic series Our Gang (also known as The Little Rascals ), the was a recurring theme, most famously appearing in the 1937 short " Mail and Female ".

Performed by Bud Jamison as the club's chairman.

An early, less-refined version of his signature "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk".
