Mechanically, the game is demanding. It respects the player’s intelligence by refusing to hold their hand. There are no quest markers and very little direction. You must learn the map, manage your stamina and hunger, and decide for yourself what kind of person Ringo will become. Will he study hard to get into a good university, or will he spend his nights brawling until he eventually ends up going nowhere?
