8K files are massive. Ensure your PC can handle large files to avoid crashes. Open the desired 8K dds file in your image editor

Take advantage of the high resolution to add textures (carbon fiber, metallic flakes) that wouldn't look good in 4K. or DXT5 (with alpha) if necessary.

Use the alpha channel to define matte vs. glossy areas of the skin. To help you further, tell me: Which editing software are you using?

Select BC7 (linear or SRGB) for the highest quality without compression artifacts, or DXT5 (with alpha) if necessary.
