A famous film director named Benton Tarantella arrives at the farm, claiming he wants to shoot his next big zombie flick there. Eustace, blinded by the promise of a large payment, greedily agrees and even helps the director film in the basement.
Courage manages to hook Eustace with a fishing rod and escapes back to the farmhouse through a new exit created by Muriel's tears . He uses a blow-dryer to seal the puddle, trapping the Queen back in her own domain. Everyone Wants to Direct [S1E9] Queen of the Black Puddle/Everyone Wants...

Courage discovers through his computer that Tarantella is actually a zombie and former serial killer . His "movie" is a front for a ritual to resurrect his dead partner, Errol Von Volkheim , who is buried directly under the farmhouse. Their actual plan is to devour Muriel once the ritual is complete. He uses a blow-dryer to seal the puddle,
Courage intervenes by sneaking into the basement and rewriting the movie script . He changes the instructions so that the two zombies end up back in their hole, where he buries them, saving Muriel and Eustace from being the "stars" of a real-life horror film.
The Queen captivates Eustace Bagge with her hypnotic voice and beauty, eventually dragging him down into her underwater kingdom. Heartbroken by Eustace's disappearance, Muriel is inconsolable, forcing a reluctant Courage to dive into the puddle to rescue him.
In this segment, a mysterious rainstorm leaves behind a dark puddle from which a beautiful, seductive emerges.
