While hiding in a forest cabin, Nina blames Tenma for saving Johan, as his survival led to the current murders. She recalls Johan killing their parents and how he specifically asked her to shoot him.
Two detectives, Messener and Müller, arrive to "escort" Tenma and Nina. Suspicious of their behaviour and noticing blood on their clothes, Tenma realizes they are corrupt and escapes with Nina by jumping into a river. Monster (Dub) Episode 7
