The grandson of Jean I, he continued the family tradition in the Asté workshop until approximately 1755. He specialized in Baroque church furniture throughout the Hautes-Pyrénées . Born in Troubat, he established a workshop in Asté in 1647. He is celebrated for creating monumental Baroque altarpieces ( retables ) and tabernacles, often compared to the work of Pierre Affre. His style combined gilded wood architecture with expressive, sometimes "naive" religious figures.
