The survivors scramble to a small rescue chamber, a metal sanctuary designed to withstand such disasters. However, hope is quickly tempered by a grim reality: it will take at least 72 hours for a rescue team to reach them. As the hours tick by, the air begins to thin. Toxic methane levels rise, and oxygen supplies dwindle, causing the group to suffer from oxygen deprivation and high-altitude-like hallucinations.
