The series uses a dual timeline to unravel a murder mystery. The sisters repeatedly—and often hilariously—fail to kill him themselves, until he actually ends up dead. In the present, two insurance agents from Claffin & Sons investigate the "accidental" death to avoid paying out a massive life insurance claim, slowly closing in on the sisters' secrets.
